Seaman Examination For Kerala Port Department

4. The Minimum Physical Eligibility

   Weight	Not less than 48 kgs
   Chest	Not less than 78 cm normal and not less than 83 cm on expansion

The Public Service Commission selects Seaman after a written test and practical examination. The written test is an objective type examination. The practical test includes tests to satisfy whether the candidates have the necessary skills.
