Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd (KSEB) is a public sector entity that produces and distributes electricity in Kerala. Due to the Kerala Government regulations, no other companies can generate and distribute electricity in the State. The backbone of this organization is the technicians who are called the Lineman. This article explains the job profile, recruitment, monthly salary, and promotion chart of a KSEB Lineman.

1. The Age Limit To Apply For KSEB Lineman Job

   1. 1. Pass in SSLC

   2. AND

   3. 2. Certificate in Electrical Engineering after having undergone a course of study of not less than one year from an Institution recognized by Government.

   4. OR

   5. City and Guilds Examination in Electrical Engineering London Institute in A.C of the Intermediate Grade. (Certificate awarded after 31.3.1985 will not be accepted)

   6. OR

   7. M.G.T.E or K.G.T.E Certificate (Higher) in Electrical Light and power.

   8. OR

   9. Grade III Certificate as Electrician or Lineman from War Technical Training Centre.
