The Monthly In-hand Salary of a Junior Employment Officer

The pay scale of a Junior Employment Officer in the National Employment Service in Kerala is 43,400-91,200 Indian Rupees per month. In addition to this basic pay, a Junior Employment Officer will receive DA, TA, and HRA.

Minimum Eligibility to Apply For the Junior Employment Officer Test

Anyone with a degree from a recognized University can apply for this post. The upper age limit for general category candidates to apply for the Junior Employment Officer post is 36 and 39 for OBC categories. Five-year relaxation is allowed for the SC/ST category in the upper age limit.

    1. General Category

      The age limit of General Category candidates is 19-36.


    2. OBC Category

      OBC students will get a three-year upper age limit relaxation.


    3. SC/ST Category

      SC/ST students can claim five years of relaxation in the upper age limit.


    4. Ex-Serviceman should not have completed 48 years



  2. Educational Qualifications


    1. A degree from a recognized University


    2. All other things being equal, candidates with a degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Service, or Social work will get a preference.

Kerala Public Service Commission will conduct the Junior Employment Officer Recruitment examination in two stages.

  1. Degree Level Preliminary Examination

  2. Junior Employment Officer Mains Examination

The preliminary examination is the same for all Kerala PSC degree-level vacancies.
