Kerala PSC has notified invitation for applications to the post of  Drugs Inspector in Kerala Drugs Control Department. Gazette notification category number is 214 /2016. Only those having a degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University can apply. Drugs Inspectors are entitled with the duty to evaluate medicines manufactured and sold in the state and ensure the safety of drugs. It is their duty to ensure the availability of safe and quality medicines and cosmetics at a controlled rate for the public. They monitor the manufacturing and distribution of medicines and cosmetics and ensure the quality of them before distributing among people. They seize medicines which do not follow the standards and stop the further sale.
