How To Become An Assistant College Professor in Kerala?

Assistant Professor Age Limit
The age limit for the General Category is 22 - 40 years. Check this table for the age limit for OBC and SC/ST candidates.

The basic educational qualification required for an Assistant Professor and Lecturer in Kerala Government College is a Master's Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks, or its equivalent, and a good academic record.
Must have passed the Comprehensive Test in the concerned subject specifically conducted by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the state government on this behalf. When qualifications are equal, preference shall be given to those candidates who possess adequate knowledge of Malayalam.
Candidates who have obtained Ph.D. Degrees in the concerned subject are exempted from passing the NET examination.
